The Aspen Dance Festival

 If you have the opportunity to visit Aspen during the months of July and August, you should absolutely use the opportunity to see many of the performances that are part of the Aspen Dance Festival. The Aspen Dance Festival features contemporary dance companies acclaimed by critics from across the United States.

The Aspen Dance Festival continues for five consecutive weeks each summer. The Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Company hosts performances at the Aspen Dance Festival. The company consists of 11 dancers who were all classically trained. The school was founded in 1995 by Bebe Schweppe. The company's first appearance was in 1996 at the John F. Kennedy Center. Kennedy Performing Arts.

All performances will take place at the Aspen Dance Festival at the Aspen Theater, which is located within the Aspen Elementary School on Maron Creek Road.

For a great evening of entertainment and culture, make sure you get at least one performance during the Aspen Dance Festival - even if you have to make a special summer trip to Aspen to do so. You can also pick up performances by Aspen Santa Fe in the ballet closer to home when they go on a tour each year.
