Believe it or not, there is only one place in Aspen where you can run shoes around the dance floor to the sounds of George Strait, and other country and western favorites - Salon Shooter. Located on South Galena Street, the Shooter Salon is open from 6:30 pm to 2 am every day. Once again, this club is the only rural and western club in Aspen, Colorado.
Here, cowboy hats, crepe jeans, shoes are the expected clothing. During the week, music is provided by the DJ, and at weekends, live bands provide rhythms. If you do not know how to apply Texas Two-Step, learn how to offer free dance lessons on Thursday nights.
